Our vision is....
We are going to break through all limits to lead the hurting to Christ, train every believer to be more like Christ, and strengthen each family to establish godly homes.
When you attend one of our services, you can expect a strong emphasis on the Word of God, worship, and prayer. You will also find a strong emphasis on reaching people with the love of Jesus Christ.
Our church has been sharing love and hope in Jacksonville and the surrounding region for 85 years. We have a strong commitment to our community and those who live in it. Join us this Sunday and see if City Church is the right church for you.
Our Staff
Pastor Zach and Jodi Krause
Pastor Zach has been our Lead Pastor since March of 2025. He and his wife, Jodi, have been married since 2005 and have four kids who keep them busy as they are active in their schools and community. Pastor Zach received his BA in Youth Ministry from North Central University in Minneapolis, MN in 2007. From there he began full-time ministry in Minnesota, but most of Pastor Zach’s ministry has been in Illinois.
Pastor Zach is an avid fan of the MN Twins and Green Bay Packers and loves sci-fi and board games. He has a heart for reaching families and seeing them grow closer to God and to each other. Pastor Zach loves having good conversations over a great cup of coffee, hot or iced!
